Parent & Family Involvement
ASPIRE trains and matches ASPIRE Advisors (volunteers from the community) with students at Grants Pass High School. The ultimate goal is to help the student research and identify college admissions information and locate scholarship opportunities. In order to accomplish this the ASPIRE Program Developer matches ASPIRE Advisors with students in a one-to-one mentoring relationship. They meet at the school at the convenience of both volunteers. All we ask is for you to: have a desire to work and communicate with teenage students, and help us track the students you will ultimately be matched with.
GPHS Booster Club
The GPHS Booster Club, a non-profit volunteer organization, along with some very dedicated community members, has embarked on a project to improve, and make available to the community, improved athletic facilities at Grants Pass High School. If you would like to become involved with their Join the Project group, you may contact Clay Rounsaville, Athletic Director for Grants Pass High School at 474-5720.
The GPHS Band Boosters are a nonprofit organization that relies on donations of the community to support our student musicians. These student band members are ranked among the top high school music programs in Oregon. Additionally, the band has garnered an impressive list of awards over the years for its musical and performance quality. A true high school show band, this group of dedicated, determined, and talented students take pride in performing some of the most musically intricate and technically difficult pieces available for marching bands.
